The DD SuperLight Tarp Tent (or Swag) is a great solution while travelling light or for minimal backpacking. Frameless and single layered, it's designed to be as light as possible: simply prop up the foot end with the spreader bar provided, and the top end with either 1 or 2 hiking poles. The best part? The whole thing weighs only 710g (excluding pegs/guys) and packs into a single bag!
This tent comes with 12 of our strong SuperLight pegs and 8 black SuperLight guy-lines, however also included with every tent are 2 extra spare pegs, and a full set of fluorescent guy-lines. This means that you can choose between stealthy black, or bright guy-lines for visibility at night.
Ventilated, waterproof and bug-proof
Spacious enough for a solo camper plus a rucksack, the DD SuperLight Tarp Tent gives you shelter and protection from insects when you need it most. With a 3,000mm PU coating and a sheltered side door, it'll keep you dry in stormy weather while its 3 air vents prevent condensation inside.

It’s much more rigid than you might think.
The brackets did not fit the range of diameters that it said it would.
Is pretty doofus when you lay it down backwards.
It is however, more rigid than you might think. It works for me.
I like it. Of course I can change things.
I like the exterior fabric and I like the vinyl undercoating. I suspect it’s going to be waterproof as well.
Now that I know, I’m not going to lay it down.
I’m going to order a second one for my wifes quad, which is even narrower than the minimum they call out. 39.4”.

Nice kit. Simple to assemble, simply packed, good weight for the metal and the shade cloth. Actual width between attachment points is 44 inches. Tubing goes together with those push button things like on aluminum table legs. Priced commensurate with quality.

Very ridged!
I put this on my can am outlander 850 and it was not a hard job to install it.
Shade cloth is nice and so far holding up good to what I put it through.
Tubing has the push buttons so putting it all together is pretty easy.
I had to make some clips myself to get the install right but it was no big deal.
5 stars!!
